Hi, can IRKit be bought online these days? It's not available on Switch-Science anymore it seems.

That's a pity. It's a very interesting project, but I lack the technical skills and time to reproduce myself.

@mash I know that you are not selling IRKits anymore but is it basically possible to order the PCB from jlcpcb.com and let them assemble everything, is there something else needed?
Are only the Gerber files named IRKit and the IRKit.partlist.csv needed or are there any necessary parts/components needed?

I really love the IRKit device that I've own and have it in use for many years now but since the project is basically deprecated it's a little hard if you need another one...
Can you maybe put some instructions up? I've never ordered a PCB or don't know what and how many layers are needed but ifI have a manual I think I could put it all together...

I do not recomment to go that route. It's almost impossible to get a Gainspan Wi-Fi module, part no. GS1011MEPS and write the firmware with the same version (s2w-2_5_1) into it(I don't think I should redistribute it). Other parts should have equivalents.

Maybe try to fork this repo and use a newer and widely used Wi-Fi module, like ESP32 from Espressif. There are Arduino projects out there using ESP32.

Okay, I've found a few projects but they are actually pretty hard to get over here where I live...

I've also found a few Tuya based devices that you can flash so that you can use MQTT to integrate it in your Home Automation or whatever but IRKit was pretty unique and I really liked it with the way how commands are sent/received...

Have to dig a little deeper, thank you for your response!
