The --profile option is only used for visualization, so I don't know that testing is particularly practical. Creating this issue for discussion.

The vis project has not seen a release since 2018, and this option appears to only be used for that application. Should we just remove this? Hmm...

Seems likely - unless there is a new tool we can target with our output...

Can we determine if vis is still in use by people? Perhaps it was forked and renamed.
