As we move towards Fedora4/Islandora 7.2, we are beginning the discussion of linked data. I'd like to keep a list of linked data controlled vocabulary and/or ontologies that people think are useful. These are not in any order or importance.

-LC Linked authorities and vocabularies: http://id.loc.gov: This covers a wide range from TGM, marcrelator terms, subjects, name authority.

-Linked VIAF: http://viaf.org/. This covers name authority.

-Linked FAST: http://experimental.worldcat.org/fast/. Covering a range of topics, names, and genres.

-Linked Getty Vocabularies: about the project, http://www.getty.edu/research/tools/vocabularies/lod/. Covering aat, tgn, ulan
