So, I want to try and get more than just 8 channels running through windows, I figured I could try and make a virtual sound device using jack and route it to 4 8 channel sound cards. Is this possible at all? If so, how would I go about it?

Same here. I have multiple Soundcards connected to my PC and would like to have them all show up in Jack. On Linux I simply use alsa_in and alsa_out to create Jack-ports for each card. Is this by any means possible with Windows?
