This gem creates all of its files with Unix-style line endings on Windows. Everything works with Ruby, so it's not a big deal, except that it causes annoying warnings if you commit the files to Git. I might try to fix this and send you a pull request.

Unfortunately the root cause seems to be that gem install, at least on my Windows system, installs gems with whatever line endings they happen to have been published with.
