<p>This tool allows you to change a phased array's geometry, element spacing, and steering position.</p>
<p>This demo was created by <a href="http://jasonleodurbin.com" target="_blank">Jason Durbin</a>. The final implementation will be hosted on <a href='https://neonphysics.com' target='_blank'>neonphysics.com</a>.
<h2>Information</h2>
<p>The provided directivity calculation assumes half-hemisphere radiation (+3 dB).</p>
<p>The farfield mesh can be made finer by changing 'Theta Points' and 'Phi Points'; however, this may result in a laggy performance.</p>
<p>Clicking (or long pressing) elements in the phase/attenuation plots allows you to manually set phase/attenuation. Additionally, the attenuation pop-up allows you to
disable an element.
</p>
<p>Hovering (or touching on mobile devices) the 2-D farfield mesh or the geometry plots will show the value of the plot under the cursor.</p>
<h2>Commercial Use</h2>
<p>If your company sells phased arrays, BFICs, etc. and would like to use a version of this tool on your website, contact [email protected].</p>

<h2>Attributions</h2>
<p>Meshing colormaps are generated to match <a href='https://matplotlib.org/stable/users/explain/colors/colormaps.html' target="_blank">matplotlib's</a>. Listed colormaps are from <a href="https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/khroma/vignettes/tol.html" target="_blank">Paul Tol's Color Scheme</a>.</p>
<p>Most of the tapers were pulled from <a href='https://www.researchgate.net/publication/316281181_Catalog_of_Window_Taper_Functions_for_Sidelobe_Control' target="_blank">"Catalog of Window Taper Functions for Sidelobe Control" by Armin W. Doerry</a>.</p>
