Either the protocol to access influxdb should be configurable, or even more flexible the URL to reach the server. The latter would enable non-standard api paths as well.

Hi @andreas-p,
Thank you for submitting issue. Unfortunately, the current version does not support SSL and as you mentioned, the URL is not flexible enough. I will take your advise into account for our next major release.
