Shared notes and markers: is this possible?

I am working on a project with a colleague, and we are trying to use obsidian for some map-based work. The vault is a shared Dropbox folder (yes, we are aware of potential sync conflicts!) Things work quite well, and Leaflet may be a perfect plugin. But markers don't seem to sync in both directions. I suspect there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for this…but are there are any work arounds? Or are we out of luck? (Thanks for the great work!)
