leftlabels option throws error in titletoc

In the documentation dated 2023/10/27, section 6.2 mentions the following:

However, here's an MWE

\documentclass{book}

\usepackage[leftlabels]{titletoc}

\begin{document}
	content
\end{document}

running which gives the following error:
Command \contentslabel already defined.
