What kind of icon(s) might be good to use for representing in the layout selector? Maybe some existing set or glyph could be used?

Hi, thanks for your interest in this project.
Coincidentally, I recently mocked up a logo of sorts for the dovetail window manager that features this layout:

The gist of the layout is represented by the adjacent rectangles.
I don't know of any existing icons or glyphs, but I could create one similar to those used in the default awesomeWM theme, such as this.

@jcrd What is the name of the icon? I tried using my own icon dovetail.layout.right.png in /layouts but it didn't work.

@joaopauloalbq You should be able to use icons by adding them to your theme.lua, for example:

theme["layout_dovetail.layout.right"] = themes_path.."default/layouts/dovetail.layout.right.png"

The built-in layoutbox widget just prepends "layout_" to the layout name to find the theme variable. See this line.
