The problem

Help a newbie install this template. Just copying to configuration.yaml does not work(

What version of Template Climate has the issue?

  1. On the HACS tab, click on the top right options menu and select "custom repositories"
  2. Put the url (https://github.com/jcwillox/hass-template-climate.git) in the "repository" field
  3. Select the "Integration" category
  4. Click "ADD"
  5. Install the "Template Climate" integration via the HACS UI.

btw this is true for any repo with a hacs.json and a custom_components folder

I was able to install it, but target temp is not displayed and I can't change it either, see #50

If anyone of you know what the problem is I would be really glad to know it

Otherwise this package would fit exactly my need as I need a virtual thermostat that can completely be used put an automation between UI and an AC.
