Using alternatives to openai whisper (e.g. whisperX)?

Hey, I'm using WhisperX for transcription of audio, because it's much, much faster.
Is there any way to replace the whisper here with it? Or should I try to use an API wrapper for this?

Hey, there's already some abstraction at the transcription level for using local whisper vs remote. You could probably add in WisperX compatibility following the same pattern
