Acknowledging user input before starting a particular task

It would be great if lazygit could acknowledge that I pressed Enter before starting a particular task. Sometimes the task takes a while to complete and it's not obvious whether I lost focus of the window (which happens quite often when debugging applications since they tend to steal focus) and my input was not acknowledged OR that it was acknowledged and I just need to wait.

A few times I have just stared at the "Are you sure..." dialog that pops up only to realize some other window stole my focus any my input never went through :)
