Unable to navigate hunks in stage view?

When I select a file and go into the staging view I can press right arrow to focus the first hunk, but after that the arrow keys don't do anything. I want to be able to navigate groups of diffs in a file without staging or discarding them.

I've tried different terminals (Warp, iterm, the default mac terminal) and they all have the same behaviour. If I stage a few lines in a hunk and can get it to start working at random.
