Using Open AI Whisper api in conjunction with stable-ts

I'm getting great results from whisper v2 large via open ai's api, however the start/end timestamps can be slightly off. For my use case specifically, I need close to exact.

I was hoping to inject the transcription from open ai into stable-ts and have it return an eval of word level timestamps. Is this possible in some way?
