The GLupen64 repository you mention in:

git clone --depth=1 -c http.sslVerify=false https://github.com/loganmc10/GLupeN64.git

Does no longer exist, but was merged into the upstream mupen64plus core of libretro project:
https://github.com/libretro/mupen64plus-libretro
Or you can look under: https://github.com/gizmo98/GLupeN64 but that repository doesn't seem to have any activity.
My new mupen64plus core will be based on this as well and is hopefully soon available ;)

Thank you for your feedback. I will try to change that. Should not be blocking as long as the default behavior is to use your compiled version and that you keep it available at https://oph.mdrjr.net/meveric/other/C1/cores/glupen64_libretro.so ;)

I probably won't remove it, but it's deprecated, the original sources for that from libretro github do no longer exist and were removed.
As I said, they merged it into mupen64plus_libretro.so now and the glupen64_libretro.so will not get anymore updates as it is.
