How do I change the instance number when running a new docker container?

Hi, Thanks for this amazing project. I using multi-instance functionality for my project but, I am running into an issue where the instance number on all of these containers are same. So, how do I change this instance number on config file when a new container is runned?

can I set it to an environment variable somehow? Please let me know your thoughts.
