Notes

  • inflate schrader tires at the bicycle repair stations
  • e scooters don't work very well over 12 m/s winds or when paths are icy
  • bicycle paths are cleared quite regularly in the winter and salted
  • road bikes work fine in the winter
  • might want to get winter tires for bike aka with studs
  • possible to lose drivers license if ride bicycle drunk
  • there are bicycle repair stations but may be incomplete
  • tires can also be inflated at gas station air pumps

  • good for getting around much quicker than walking
  • good for the capital area's many hills

rental escooter companies are Zolo, Hopp and Bolt

The downtown area also has bike rentals for tourists on week days

perhaps good to also mention the different shops that sells different brands of bikes and how if you buy a new bike then the chain needs to be tightened and adjusted within six months
