When searching for "matomo react" on Google, the first result is for the node package @datapunt/matomo-tracker-react, which appears to be a link to an old version of this Repo.
I was confused by it initially, especially because the @datapunt package has a Typescript error where the Provider can't have any children.
It looks like that outdated npm package has ~15k weekly downloads, as opposed to the newer @jonkoops/matomo-tracker-react package which has ~3k weekly downloads.
idk if npm has a mechanism to flag a package as out of date, but even if not it might be good to add a short note into your Readme about the other out of date package, and how this is the canonical one.
