Error: No asset for platform linux-amd64

I am trying to install a rust project that I've been using cargo for but it takes a while.

There isn't a release tagged for linux-amd64, so it fails when using installer, or at least it fails for me in GH Actions and on my desktop (fedora 40, x86 hardware).

Is there a way to override to platform identifier or anything like that?
