Vivecraft crashes with Forge 36.2.9 or newer #122
Comments
This is likely an incompatibility with the latest Forge. As we've said newer versions are not guaranteed to work, so if it doesn't you're just out of luck until we officially update it. What you can do for now is try a slightly older Forge version. |
Looks like 36.2.8 is the newest version that will be compatible. Anything newer will encounter this crash. |
Developer note, the relevant change is here: MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge@0ecc6c6#diff-a23157af13640392a15eb64829751d419f2f25f1a02726e4d586ff1852f515aaR8 Looks like a total pain in the ass to fix this. |
This should be fixed in revision 7 just uploaded today, please test. |
you're lucky because i can't even launch the game in versions after 36.2.20 |

I can open inventory fine, when I close it the game crashes. No matter how I close it. Crash log saying optifine is the issue. I took the Optifine mod out but Vivecraft is built on Optifine. Any ideas?
