At the moment there is no search integration to search packages from NPM or auto complete/suggest the search term. The search feature expects exact search term to be entered and takes to latest version.

Implement search integration using one of these https://typesense.org/typesense-vs-algolia-vs-elasticsearch-vs-meilisearch/
