Can't use zoom with Bad Optimizations mod + FOV effects "OFF"

So, I always play with Accesibility settings > FOV Effects turned "OFF" because it annoys me, and I noticed after installing Bad Optimizations mod, I could no longer zoom in and out. I found a workaround to this though, which is setting FOV effects to 0% instead of "OFF"
Oddly enough, if set to OFF, I can't zoom but the sensitivity of the mouse changes as if I was actually zooming.
