First, I want to express my gratitude for this project, thank you! I’m thoroughly enjoying it, and I’m thrilled to share this enhanced version with my kids.

Issue: Weapon and engine upgrade slots stay active upon re-entering an already active channel.
Version: 2.1.0 (downloaded Windows 64 bit build from releases: SpaceCadetPinballx64Win.zip)

In the original version, the weapon and engine upgrade slots would deactivate upon re-entering an already active channel. This is regardless if the ball enters from above or below - not that I noticed any difference based on direction in the current version.

That's odd, I just built this on ARM64 Linux and I'm not experiencing that issue.

I also just tried V2.1.0 via SpaceCadetPinballx64Win.zip on Windows 11 and also don't experience this issue.

When I move through an active channel, it deactivates (as expected). Are you able to reliably reproduce this issue?

Yes it happens every time. Video attached (Edit, linked instead as upload failed).
I happen to have a windows 10 machine in the living room and it does the same thing. My primary machine is windows 11.

That's odd, I wish I knew more. The only difference I see is I'm using the "3D Pinball Space Cadet" theme. Hopefully your video helps lead to a solution.
