Anyone else find that switching to Full Tilt mode suddenly isn't working?

I've had all the correct files set up on my Linux/Steam Deck instance properly for days and had a blast playing the FT version, but suddenly despite them not moving from the proper folder and appearing fine afaik, it's defaulting to the MS demo again. Anyone else getting this?

(upon further analysis, app version is 2.1.1 DEV - not sure if this means anything but will note anyway because it's not listed anywhere on the app pages)
