The charity register updates when a charity closes, but when that charity is a CIO, Companies House doesn't update accordingly to show that the charity has closed.
This means that FTC recommends using the GB-COH-CE****** org ID, instead of the GB-CHC. However the charity number org ID is still the primary and best identifier for that organisation, and so the method for recommending the best org IDs for CIOs should be amended.

Although some records on companies house do seem to be marked as closed - not sure what needs to happen for the closure to be updated, potentially there's a time lag?
