Installation for mac os catalina
===============================
these instructions regard the full installation of the system, including the evolutionary layer with user interaction (full_experiment.py)
note that not every part of the installation is needed if you wish to simply generate the compositions (DEMO.py)

Basic steps...
----------------

install python3 and numpy

pip3 install MIDIUtil

pip3 install midi2audio

ln -s /path/to/my/sound_font.sf2 ~/.fluidsynth/default_sound_font.sf2



Intermediate steps...
-----------------------

Unzip the presets file and update its path in as_open applescript (I'm providing only some of my presets, but you can create many more yourself!)

brew install liblo or liblo >= 0.27 [http://liblo.sourceforge.net/]

Pip3 install cython

Pip3 install pyliblo

pip3 install pylive

download/install >> https://www.ableton.com/en/products/live-lite/

download/install >> https://github.com/ideoforms/LiveOSC

Live should normally be running on localhost, with LiveOSC enabled as a Control Surface.

Advanced steps...
-----------------

pip3 install deap

Pip3 install matplotlib

pip3 install PyQt5

Create ‘experiments’ folder into the root

Add Utilities/Script Editor into the list in System preferences >> Security and Privacy >> Accessibility

Deactivate any sleep mode ou screensaver of the OS
