Why is it so hard to get working

Please help me

I've had so many issues trying to get to this to work.
If it's not DNS, it's a cert issue.
I'm just trying to run it on localhost as a test.

I've followed the setup guide from the website, I've watched some videos, changed etc/hosts, configured ufw, I've moved the cert to the cert store, tired changing resolve.conf, I've even went to the extent of reinstalling the OS fresh and trying again, among other things.
I have been going In circles for the last few days I don't know if I'm coming or going anymore.

I'm not sure what I've done wrong but currently I'm getting a TLS error when I try to access the link.
Ive looked through several of the issues threads here and have tried some of the methods and it seems nothing is working. Please if anyone can help me I have been trying this to no avail for days
