I wanted to share an idea for integrating Outline as a knowledge base data source for Khoj.
Outline’s focus on team collaboration and structured knowledge organization makes it a natural fit for Khoj’s mission to unify and enhance personal and team knowledge workflows.

Why Outline?

• Popularity: Outline is widely adopted, with 28k+ GitHub stars and a strong community.
• Feature-rich: Real-time collaborative editing, Markdown support, and self-hosted/cloud-hosted options make it highly versatile.
• API ready: Its RPC-style API, combined with a comprehensive OpenAPI specification, enables robust programmatic interaction with its data.

Value Proposition

If Khoj were to integrate with Outline, it could:

• Offer unified access and search capabilities across another widely used knowledge platform.

• Further extend Khoj’s role as a central hub for managing and retrieving knowledge.
