There are some examples in that list that I'd like to see changed if everyone agrees:

  • Prefab > prefab
  • Project Browser > Project view
  • Unity Editor > Unity editor
  • Coroutine > coroutine

Thanks @BlackDragonBE! I'll roll these into the suggestions.

The only one of these that might be a little problematic (from an editorial perspective) is enforcing Project view instead of Project Browser.

@Wlinc Sounds good!
If there's no way around Project Browser, it should at least be "Project browser" 😄

@Wlinc @BlackDragonBE Unity's manual just looks inconsistent. This link (https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/ProjectView.html) says ProjectView.html but at the same time uses Project Window and Project Browser in the text.

@Wlinc @abgtan
"Along the top edge of the window is the browser’s toolbar."

That's a prime example of the Unity way of documentation.
I think we should just choose a way of writing each element that's inconsistent as a team so at least we have consistency. I prefer window so it matches the other names. You can also undock it and then it's definitely a window.

Any ideas?

Right. I also think we should use window moving forward.
