Connection Timeout

I try to add a Philips Air Humidifier HU5710/03 using manual configuration (not automatically found by HA), but this results in a time-out error. The device is in the same network, the app on my smartphone can connect tot the device.

This can be found in the log:

Timeout, host 192.168.1.180 doesn't answer, aborting

Anything I can do the make the device able to connect?

Please try aioairctrl from the command line as described in the README here. If that doesn't work either, there is nothing you can do and your device is not supported.

I have used philips_airpurifier_http integration instead. Worked like a charm with my AC2889/10 ( WiFI version 14, device software version 1.0.4 ).

Just in case that someone has started integration in HA from CoAP (which is the very first one that HA user is getting to) :)
