Can't link Alexa Cloud integration

I am having an issue where I can't connect Alexa cloud plugin (i am in USA west coast). This used to work correctly before. Now i get an error on the last step with "Unable to link the skill at this time, please try again later".

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

• Cloud plugin is working correctly and is authenticated through Google Sign in
• Use web or app to authenticate the plugin, both fail.
• Port forwarding is mapped correctly and test is successful.

Expected behavior
Linking Successful

Any updates on this? Would really like to get this working? Is there a way to maybe reset the whole thing as this used to work before without issues.

I wonder if its a speed issue - I do see the Alexa responses from my server but after Amazon has given up linking the skill in my phone.
