(sorry if this is the wrong place, I'm looking at the debs from the ethz-asl build-essential ppa) Debian 8.1/Jessie already has a remake:

Package: remake
Version: 3.82+dbg0.9+dfsg-2
Maintainer: Yaroslav Halchenko <[email protected]>
Description-en: GNU make fork with improved error reporting and debugging
Homepage: http://bashdb.sourceforge.net/remake

Perhaps these debs could packaged under the name "cmake-ext-remake" or something like that?
