Thanks for the lighting code. It is very useful to understand the cascade mvsnet. I've noticed worse performance on smaller objects with the epoch 15 checkpoint. I'm testing my own dataset run through colmap, and then through the colmap2mvsnet script. All settings are the same other than num_groups which is set to 8 for the blended checkpoint.
Have you seen similar issues? Is there anything I need to change other than num_groups setting? For the images, I'm running n_views = 5. The depth range is between 3.0 and 7.0. The original Casmvs and UCSNet process the images correctly. Only the blended checkpoint has issues. The images are of a anime character. Here is an examples of the good and bad depthmaps.
