Took out $scope and made a couple small changes (spelling of length, taking out some console.logs and making sure that if you press 'cancel' when manually setting an offset you go back to the original state). I haven't tested everything so you'd know better if I made a change that broke things. Happy to put this on a feature branch if you want too.
