Description

The current load test (#14) has to be extended to cover following sceanrios:

  • Create a particular amount of Runtime-CRs (which will trigger the creation of Shoot-Specs)
  • After all RuntimeCRs are created, restart KIM (ensure restart works without bigger issues)
  • Change over a longer period (can be several hours) a percentage of clusters within in minute (e.g. change 15% of all clusters within 1 min)

AC:

  • Step 1: Defined amount of clusters are created as first step of the test execution
  • Step 2: Restart of the KIM pod and ensure KIm is starting successfully (no overload during the bootstrapping etc.)
  • Step 3: Change over a longer period (configurable, up to several hours) defined percentage (configurable) of clusters over a amin (e.g. change 15% of all clusters within 1min)

Reasons

Enhance load test scenario to ensure a proper and expected behaviour of KIM under load.
