Describe the bug
Video quality doesn't change after selecting any resolution higher than 480p.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Enable DASH in settings
Open any video with a max resolution that is higher than 480p
Select any resolution higher than 480p
Nothing happens
Expected behavior
Resolution should change to the one I select.
Smartphone (please complete the following information):
Device: Redmi Note 9
OS: Android 12
Version 1.19.12
Additional context
Selecting any resolution lower than 480p or going from a lower resolution to 480p works fine. Tried changing instances a couple of times but behavior was the exact same. Opening videos in a browser and selecting higher resolutions there also works fine.

Okay, I have tested it some more and it seems to actually switch (now the video briefly pauses after picking a resolution and then resumes) but bitrate wise it looks so much worse compared to the YouTube Android app and the Invidious instance in a browser (@ 1080p). It would be useful to have a video stats toggle in the app (similar to "Stats for nerds" on YouTube) to actually see whether the right resolution is playing or not because I am still not actually sure if it's supposed to look like that.
