Proposal for EventBrite API Toolkit

Feature request

We aim to leverage the Eventbrite API to allow Langchain to:

• Extract conditions from user messages and find fitting events
• Explore statistics and details about events (attendees, venue, pricing, event categories)
• Manage events (make, edit, delete Eventbrite events)

Motivation

In 2022, the top 5 US cities hosted 225,000 events with 16.9 million attendees. Annually, they host millions of events with tens of millions of attendees. In 2023, they generated $326 million in revenue. As AI becomes more of an everyday tool, people will use Langchain for managing events more actively. With this integration, Langchain will be able to offer detailed and feature-rich services regarding events around the world.

Proposal (If applicable)

We are a team of 4 from University of Toronto Scarborough. We intend to open a PR that integrates the Eventbrite API. The API provides access to registered events, their details, and pricing information.

Given approval, we expect to complete the aforementioned features by mid-November.
