Can anyone explain the pricing criteria, like when we feed the model information for question answering-
-The Costing is on the basis of : 1.The Input tokens
2. The output tokens
3. The embedding created for Index vector

Can anyone define the pricing of embedding .

Langchain is free and open source, what really cost is the model you use, if you use OpenAI check their pricing page here:

So if you use open source models there would not be any pricing at all?

Free if you run them locally. For e.g., AWS Bedrock provides an inference endpoint for the Llama 3.2 series of models and this is the pricing.
