The current flow for adding new alarms should be redesigned the current implementation isn't intuitive. Users have to press the save/create new alarm button (blue with +) when finished. Otherwise, the new alarm is never created.
Possible solutions are to allow saving or creating alarms on backpress. Add a text notification along the top of the screen indicating the save status(ie. saving, just saved, not saved).

I think a simple solution is open the time-selector dialog initially when a new alarm is being created. If an initial time is set then the alarm should be created. Any changes after that should update that newly created alarm.
