#pragma's or standard parameter set for compiling?

My LESS code is being compiled in different environments I even don't control.

Say, to compile the code on-the-go when I save a file, I use Web Compiler 2022+ (an extension for VS 2022, that handles LESS/SASS), that is so poorly documented, that I cannot find what parameter in .cfg disables LESS calc evaluation.

Is there a standard documented parameter set, anywhere? That is being passed to the same compiler core?

And, is there something like #pragma in C++, an instruction right inside code, that overwrites any external parameters?

There is a documented list of parameters for the Less compiler that can control features like calc evaluation. The math option is particularly relevant here. It can be set to:

• 0 for always eagerly trying to solve all operations.
• 1 for requiring parentheses for division (/).
• 2 for requiring parentheses for all operations.
• 3 for legacy strict behavior (super-strict) ^[1].

Regarding inline directives similar to C++ #pragma, there is no documentation indicating that Less supports such inline directives or comments to alter compilation behavior or override external parameters ^[2].

This is slightly incorrect. There is no feature for calc specifically. If you mean math calculations and not the CSS calc function, then yes, the math option is what you're looking for. But in terms of Web Compiler 2022, I have no idea, as the Less team doesn't deal with those directly.

I see. Thank you for the answer. But I guess, having these preprocessor directives would be neat anyway.
