Milestone achieved: Feature complete 🎉

The latest version of Wendy, 8.1.0, hits a major milestone for the project. It’s now feature complete! Over the past month, the following few features have been shipped:

• ✅ Add tasks using enums instead of hard-coded Strings. Avoid potential typo bugs.
• ✅ Use Codable objects when you add tasks to Wendy. This allows you to pass more data to Wendy for your sync operations. Requiring potentially less work during the sync process.
• ✅ No warnings when you enable complete swift concurrency checking.
• ✅ Perform searches for tasks to attach listeners to them. This means you no longer need to store a reference to Wendy task IDs! Just add tasks and then perform searches later on.

Wendy can now do everything that I believe it needs to do, and have a pretty good experience doing it.

Roadmap is public

I am happy to announce that Wendy-iOS now has a public roadmap! To try and encourage community around this project, I felt that making the roadmap public would help with that.

If you have interest in using Wendy in your app or contributing to it’s codebase, check out the roadmap and ask questions in discussions.
