As a kick off to the sig-design/ LF Public Health project we spoke about 'reviewing' 'assessing' or 'critiquing' the existing tracing app and/or healthcare apps that are Linux Foundation Public Heath apps (or other similar apps).

This is likely a design issue that will never close as long as there are more apps/tools to review and more people to review them in specific contexts.

Please comment on this issue with:

Name or a pseudonym
App you'll be reviewing
Link to the review (can be google docs, etherpad, airtable, notion, another issue, wiki page in the repo etc.)
Link to the methodology if used (e.g. Heuristic analysis etc.)

Examples of apps/tools to review are:

  • 'Covid Shield' or other location based tracing applications.
  • NHS Covid trace.

There are a range of Herald apps / standards drafts / analysis tools we'd welcome independent review of. Want me to list them hear? If not, please reach out on Slack.

Fire away, Adam.
Top 2 list in terms of priority/need++ might be in order, along side the laundry list, since we're just birthing the design crew.
TY!
