YouTube playback speed broken when addon enabled

When the YouTube Audio Equalizer and Amplifier is enabled, playback speed on Youtube is broken. I am not able to change to playback speed. The playback speed only works when the addon is disabled. I am using Firefox 67.0.1 on Windows 10 and YouTube Audio Equalizer and Amplifier v0.1.0

I have the same issue with Firefox 69.0.2 and ouTube Audio Equalizer and Amplifier 0.1.0

Setting the "speed manually" in the console, doesn't work either. For example:
document.getElementsByTagName("video")[0].playbackRate = 2
