Feature request to float window.

Would it be possible to have an equalizer window open in either a new tab, or to float the window above the video I'm trying to equalize?
I need to make constant tweaks until the speech I'm trying to make out is clear, sometimes there's background noise or harsh weather, and the equalizer closes every time I try to make sure I can hear better. Thank you.
