The file in the link below contains variables v_y and v_y representing velocity vectors. The variables are correctly interpreted as a vector layer, but in the rendering, the values of v_x are also used as y-component, instead of the values in the variable v_y. Note that the file does not have a time dimension.
EDIT: further investigation revealed that if a dummy time axis is added to the dataset and used in all variables, (i.e. giving each variable one time step only), the x/y vectors plot correctly! So this should be Labeled as a bug.
