How to know which file it looks to find out which game it is? #203
-
Hi, Installed v63 via Proton-Qt on Steam Deck. I'm trying to force it to download dxx-rebirth for Descent but when I set it's compatibility mode in Steam to Luxtorpeda and run, it opens up a dialogue box to choose an engine which doesn't have dxx-rebirth in it. I tried adding the game manually to Steam but no matter the file I point it to, being Descentr.exe, Descent.bat, etc, it won't detect it and opens the same dialogue box. It's my first time using Luxtorpeda. Thanks |

This looks for app ids for games that you own on Steam. Are you trying to use a non-steam game? If so, you can look into the user-packages override (https://github.com/luxtorpeda-dev/luxtorpeda#user-packages-override), which allows you to set your own custom data for your non-steam game. |
