Start game and minimize Luxtorpeda? #268
-
Is it possible to have the Luxtorpeda window minimize/hide right before it launches the game? I thought it did this a while ago, but from some time ago now it just stays open. Normally that's fine, as the game would be full screen over it, but for some reason it messes with Unreal Tournament going full screen on launch. This could also be because of my window manager... but it would still be nice to have it minimize. |

There's a close_client_on_launch parameter in the config that can be set to close luxtorpeda as soon as the game lauches, but this does have a downside that any errors reported won't show. I might be able to cause a minimize to occur, but I can't close it with the way the godot integration works. What window manager do you have and could you take a video of what you're experiencing? |

Yeah I just disabled Karousel and it fixes it. UT goes full screen over it successfully. So this is just a Karousel issue.
But, for the 2 other people out there that want to use Karousel and Luxtorpeda at the same time:
In the window rules of Karousel, I added
so that Luxtorpeda doesn't tile anymore (it just floats the window). That seems to have fixed it? I'll have to keep using it to see if it happens again. It does keep the window on top of everything besides the fullscreen game, but I assume that's something to do with Karousel and how it implements tiled and floated windows.
I have recorded the behavior before the fix…
