When running this within Mbed Studio 1.3, which has Anaconda w/ Python 3.7.1, I ran into this issue when running the script.
I think this is related to macOS.
ImportError: pycurl: libcurl link-time ssl backend (openssl) is different from compile-time ssl backend (none/other)
There is a related issue here: transloadit/python-sdk#4
However, I'm not sure if the suggested workaround is acceptable.
