Extract: extension/package.json not found inside zip

Hi All,

Newbie VS-Code user (please be gentle) 😄

I'm trying to install this (highly recommended) extension. I have downloaded the vsix file by clicking the Download button on the VS Marketplace, and when I go to the 'View and more actions -> Install from VSIX...' and click on the downloaded file VS-Code give me an 'Extract: extension/package.json not found inside zip.' error message.

My version of VSC is: 1.96.4.

So, is this a newbie error of some sort or is there a bug in the extensions?

Hi,
that extension is for Visual Studio 2022 and not Visual Studio Code. That can be the root cause of the problem. I don't think it can work in VSC.
